Steve > The peak in the distance is where were were heading. There was no easy trail but that's how we like it! And as Margit says, "It's doable."

Steve > This was the start of our final leg up the rock face. There were no steps or rails but simply a wire cable bolted into the face of the mountain. Kirsten and the young girls stayed behind as Margit and I took the 3 older ones on a hike they won't easily forget.
Steve > Just after this picture a loose rock came falling down towards us. The kids really impressed me by making it to the end without ay help along the way. They listened carefully during some dangerous parts and earned the reward of a beautiful view.
Steve > This was looking back to where we started with steep drops on both sides.

Steve > The proff is in the photo, my hiking champions. This would not have been possible when we first arrived in France but after a year and many smaller hikes they now have the stamina.
